Home | News | Robinsons Invest in Plasma Cutting Technology

Robinsons manufacturing plant recently installed a high-definition CNC plasma cutting machine. The machine will offer virtually dross-free cutting of profiles in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium sheet. The Morgan Rushworth machine has been installed in a purpose-built lean-to building along with a Hyperterm extraction system.

The cutter will be used to manufacture and cut plates for our buildings. Its bedwith is 3×1.5m with 3-6m lengths.

Ryan Brown, Managing Director said; “The plasma cutter is another investment in our in-house production capabilities. This technology will help us stay at the forefront of our industry and create efficiencies in our production processes that support us in manufacturing the best product for our customers.”
