Health & Safety Policy

Home | Health & Safety Policy

At Robinsons we place particular importance on the promotion of health, safety and well-being of all those employed by the company, visitors or any person who may use or work in the company premises or on-site.

It is incredibly important to us that our team and those who come into contact with our projects are looked after and kept safe. With this in mind, we continually review our management systems to ensure that we can display the best practices of our industry and ensure legal compliance. Our site managers and general team are trained in all necessary fields, spot checks are completed, and staff are encouraged to ask questions if they are unsure about anything on site. We will not under any circumstances compromise the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce. We also ensure that any sub-contractors working with us must provide us with a copy of their Safety Policy and a meeting will take place before any work commences to discuss the health and safety considerations that must be observed and actioned before any work can take place.

In addition to our teams’ physical health, safety & wellbeing, we also place a great deal of emphasis on looking after our workforces mental health too. In November 2020, two of our team members became registered Mental Health First Aiders – something which we will soon be rolling out amongst other individuals within Robinsons. Our HR department, site managers and team leaders regularly check in with those they work with, and we have an abundance of resources available to help our staff keep mentally healthy as well as resources available and procedures in place for those who may need support.

But don’t just take our word for it – we have a whole host of industry-recognised accreditations which you can only receive upon proving that your Health & Safety measures are up to scratch! You can view our accreditations here.

A copy of our full health and safety policy is available from our team upon request, please contact us today for more details.
