Who doesn’t want a new home, built exactly as they’ve always dreamt?

New build homes take investment, ambition and patience, but watching your dream home go from a plot of land to your perfect residence is one of the most exciting & rewarding processes you can experience! Let’s chat about the process of new build housing.

Self-Build Home

I want to build my dream home – how can Robinsons help?

New build homes are a big commitment, but the end result is worth it! Understanding the process is crucial – even if you are letting a project manager take charge – in order for your to ensure you stick to the schedule and can keep track of the project.

Robinsons Architecture & Design provide a full service, guiding you through every step of the process. Our team like to do an initial consultation in order to learn about your vision and what the space will be used for, your budget, and your timeframe. We can then chat through everything you’ll need to consider, from planning permissions to drawings, and provide you with a quotation for our services as well as what costs you can expect when it comes to completing your exciting new project.

What is involved in a self-build?

If you haven’t yet got a plot of land, this is a crucial part of building your own home that you must ensure is budgeted for. You must ensure that the land is big enough to accommodate the size of the home (plus garden) that you would like to have.

You will need a whole host of contractors on your project – from groundworkers to joiners. Our knowledgeable team will chat through the whole process with you and can indicate what kind of things you’ll need to consider (including often forgotten things such as toilet facilities for the workers!) for each stage of the build.
