In a landmark project marking their 50th anniversary, we’re proud to partner with Thomas Armstrong Construction to deliver a transformative £1 million roofing installation at Borderway Mart, one of the UK’s largest livestock trading hubs.
This ambitious construction project will dramatically enhance the iconic facility’s capabilities, featuring a spectacular 2,000-square-metre double-span roof designed to revolutionise the trading environment.
The new installation will replace the original low roof at the Rosehill Industrial Estate site, introducing elevated heights and increased width to significantly improve operational efficiency.
The innovative design prioritises both functionality and sustainability, incorporating advanced features to optimise natural light and enhance airflow throughout the complex. These improvements directly support Harrison & Hetherington’s commitment to superior animal welfare and operational excellence.
Construction commenced on November 4th, with completion scheduled for April 2025. The 22-week programme has been carefully planned to minimise disruption to daily operations at Borderway Mart.
