Hello there, steel aficionados 👋

October has been a month of milestones, achievements, and a few spooky visitors around the yard

From our 20-year celebration to incredible staff accomplishments and exciting projects, there is plenty to catch up on.

Let’s dive in…

ROBINSONS IS 20!

Back in 2005, Jim and Ryan Brown spotted a gap in the market for reliable structural steel manufacturing and construction.

They set out to build a company focused on quality, customer care, and high standards of workmanship.

Twenty years later, thanks to our skilled team, trusted subcontractors, and reliable supply chain, Robinsons has grown from our HQ in Lockerbie to offices and workshops across the UK.

From bespoke designs to steel fabrication and on-site erection, we continue to deliver efficient, affordable solutions.

We could not have done it without our amazing team and fantastic clients.

Here is to the next 20 years!

OUR SHINING STARS

Henry, our Employee of the Quarter, wowed the team by single-handedly managing several complex industrial projects. Talk about stepping up!

Saphron, our second Employee of the Quarter, continues to impress with her positivity and dedication, building strong relationships with schools and partners.

Aimie, our Operations Supervisor, achieved her CMI Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership!

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Fife Council Project – The main frame is up and standing, bringing the design to life.

Huddersfield Giants Training Facility – Steel portal frame, composite panels, and a mezzanine floor are all taking shape safely and efficiently.

Here’s another bespoke build featuring a viewing area, hot-dip galvanised steelwork, fibre cement roof cladding, and almost 100 rooflights for natural light.

HITTING THE ICE

You might recognise that logo 😉

The Dumfries Ice Bowl has reopened after a major revamp, and we are proud to be sponsoring the curling club this year.

With all that ice and sweeping action, we’re seriously tempted to swap our steel toe caps for curling shoes… are they even a thing?!

New members are always welcome, so if you’ve been thinking about giving curling a try, now’s the perfect time.

SPOOKY STEEL

Towards the end of the month, strange goings-on were reported at Robinsons HQ…

Eerie figures were seen wandering the yard, haunting the steel bays, and lurking in the cut and drill shed.

Seems even our ghosts cannot resist a bit of fabrication fun!
