Home | News | Celebrating 20 Years at Robinsons: Andrew Bell

This year marks a big milestone for Andrew Bell, who is celebrating 20 years with Robinsons.

Andrew joined the business in its early days, back when the team was small and based in a portacabin. Since then, he has been part of the company’s growth every step of the way, seeing it develop into what it is today.

Growing with the business

Starting out as an Estimator, Andrew has built his career at Robinsons and now leads as Estimating Manager.

One of his proudest achievements has been growing the commercial side of the business, increasing turnover more than five times over a three year period. It is something he worked hard to build and continues to develop.

A lot has changed

When Andrew first joined, there were just six people in the office. Two estimators handled all incoming quotations and, at the time, things felt manageable.

He remembers coming back after one Christmas break to a huge increase in enquiries. Since then, things have not really slowed down.

The business has continued to expand, with more people, improved facilities and ongoing investment. From workshop upgrades to new equipment, Andrew has seen the company move forward at every stage.

What has kept him here

For Andrew, a big part of staying with Robinsons has been the people.

He enjoys working alongside a friendly and supportive team, where everyone contributes and takes pride in what they do. The company’s ambition and drive have also played a big part, with clear goals and a focus on growth that keeps things moving.

Working locally has also been important, especially with family life and fostering, making that balance easier to manage.

Looking ahead

Reaching 20 years is a great achievement and something Andrew is genuinely proud of. He has played a key role in the journey so far, but is quick to recognise the wider team effort behind the company’s success.

As Robinsons continues to grow, Andrew remains a big part of what comes next.

A big thank you to Andrew for his hard work and commitment over the past 20 years 👏
