ET Summerfield and Son of Acre Hill Farm required a new agricultural building after an unfortunate arson attack causing £1 million worth of damage. Destroying over 200,000 tonnes of straw and 22 farming machines it was a devastating loss for the father and son. The result was that they had to cut the size of their herd by half, as they had no feed or bedding for their cattle.
Peter and Michael Summerfield were looking for a fast, efficient solution to return to their working farm. Having used Robinsons previously, the Summerfields knew the reputation for high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Working in an incredibly short timeframe Robinsons could provide them with a quality steel-framed building that would stand up to the harsh environment of their farm.
Robinsons organised to visit the site and complete a quote in a short time. The scope of the project was a Triple Apex steel-framed building including foundations and erection. Only taking 38 days to erect this allowed Michael and Peter Summerfield to return to their farming business promptly.
