March at Robinsons

March has been a bit of a whirlwind at Robinsons.

From completing massive frames in the rain to celebrating decade-plus milestones in the office, the momentum hasn’t stopped.

Spring might be taking its time to decide on the weather, but our teams are already out in full force across the country.

Here is a look at what we’ve been up to this month.

On site & standing tall

Our construction teams have been busy bringing some impressive designs to life this month.

Dumfries & Galloway

We’ve finished the steel erection on a massive 340’ x 90’ agricultural building. With a galvanised frame for durability and 68 roof lights for maximum natural light, this local project is a real showstopper.

Huddersfield Giants

We are proud to have completed our phase at Laund Hill. Our team handled the steelwork supply and erection for the Giants’ new training facility, including a mezzanine floor for the gym and coaching areas.

East Lothian

A functional 100′ x 60′ apex lean-to was completed, featuring a 17’6″ eaves height and a 6′ cantilever to maximise covered site space.

Where we’ve been heading

Our lorries haven’t stayed still for long. This month, Robinsons steel has been delivered to:

📍 Northern Ireland: Downpatrick, County Down

📍 Scotland: Arbroath, Isle of Lewis, Newton Stewart, Beauly, Haddington, Buckie

📍 England: Stafford, Chesterfield, Nuneaton, Oxford

& more!

Team news & milestones

March has been a month of big celebrations (and a few bittersweet goodbyes) within the Robinsons family.

Happy Retirement, Heidi!

After 7 years as our Payroll Officer, Heidi is heading off to a well-earned retirement. We’ll miss her friendly face around the office!

15 Years for James

A massive cheers to James, one of our expert welders, who hit his 15-year anniversary with us this month.

International Women’s Day

We took a moment to celebrate the incredible women across our business, from the site teams to the design offices, who keep Robinsons moving forward.

In the community

We’ve been busy outside of the workshop too…

Lockerbie Academy

Our HR and Marketing managers, Jane and Kayleigh, ran our third and final session with local pupils, hosting mock interviews and a “questionable” marketing challenge (selling everyday items with a twist!).

Cash for Kids

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Easter Egg collection! We’ve been a drop-off point all month, and the generosity of our staff and community has been amazing.

Thanks for being part of another busy month.

Whether you’re planning a new build or just following our progress, we’re glad to have you with us.

The Robinsons Team.
