TEKLA Draughtsperson

Location: Northwich, CW9
Reporting to: Drawing Office Manager
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, Depending on Experience
Hours: Monday to Friday

We are an established structural steel company and you will be part of a forwarding thinking company with a clear strategy for growth. We require an experienced Tekla Draughtsperson to join our growing team at our drawing office in Cheshire. You will be dealing with various contracts in both the Industrial and Agricultural market. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The key duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Review Structural Engineer drawings.
  • Create 3D models using Tekla.
  • Liaise with other members of the company.
  • Carrying out assignments using AutoCAD & Tekla.
  • Provide TEKLA Modelling from client’s drawings, fabrication and fitting drawing production and support to all projects.
  • Good time and project management skills.
  • Working with work colleagues and customers to achieve final results on technical matters.
  • Maintain a high standard of work under pressure.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Minimum 2-years tekla experience – Essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of structural steel industry – desirable
  • Substantial relevant and proven experience – Essential
  • Education or training related to civil engineering – desirable.
