Last week we began our in-house staff training. 8 Robinsons employees undertook a level 3 award in Emergency first aid at work regulated by Ofqual. During the interactive training, they learned about workplace injuries, experimented with some bandages, learned how to deal with a choking casualty and most importantly got to practice some life-saving CPR skills!
We are delighted to say they all passed with flying colours, so a big well done to all who attended.
The Company has just purchased a Defibrillator for the Lockerbie site and will be looking to train all our staff on basic life support and its safe use over the coming months.
Robinsons takes health and safety and the training of its employees very seriously and now has an onsite First Aid and Health & Safety compliance trainer/assessor who can deliver a vast array of training courses which are all Ofqual, Iosh and Nebosh regulated so as our company grows we can ensure our employees grow too.
