Group Administrative & Safety Support Assistant

Location: Lockerbie
Reporting to: SHEQ Advisor
Contract: Part Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Mon to Fri, Flexible (24hrs)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a meticulous and highly organised person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient day-to-day operations by providing administrative support to our Health and Safety team. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The key duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with data recording of accidents and incidents in the workplace.

• Order and track PPE.

• Assist with organising internal and external training.

• Subcontractor maintenance and approvals.

• Input data reported from inspections and notify relevant department of findings.

• Arrange inspections, calibrations etc.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

• Document control.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Relevant experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

• Basic understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and principles is desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
