500T Grain Store Steel Building

Agricultural Kit Building including steelwork, purlins, roof cladding, roof lights, rainwater goods, end cladding & side cladding.

Please note that steel sizes/building specifications may vary depending on the location of your building & its local weather conditions.

STEELWORK:
To supply for erection on prepared site and concrete foundations, steel portal frame 6.096m (20`) centres with 356 x 171 x 45kg UB stanchions with web stiffeners and 254 x 146 x 31kg UB rafters with rafter stays.

One gable frame to have 2 No. 356 x 171 x 45kg UB intermediate sub stanchions. Other gable frame to have 1 No. 356 x 171 x 45kg UB intermediate sub stanchion, including CHS rafter and side bracing to one end bay, complete with CHS eaves ties.

All steelwork will be shot-blasted and painted with a red oxide finish.

PURLINS
To supply galvanised steel purlins by Steel Sections Ltd bolted to frame at 1.375m centres. Eaves beam to be 225 x 75 C16 graded tanalised timber.

ROOF CLADDING
To supply Profile 6 reinforced corrugated natural grey fibre cement sheets. The ridge is to be closed. Verges are to be finished with fibre cement barge boards.  Complete with foam fillers.

ROOF LIGHTS:
Incorporate 12 No. 1.525m corrugated 2.40kg/m² profile 6 roof lights in the roof cladding positioned to suit the customer’s requirements.

RAINWATER GOODS
Eaves gutter to be 160 on the side with 2 No. 110mm Ø PVC downpipes to each side. All gutters are to be PVC with rubber-sealed joints fixed to eaves beams with PVC brackets at 1m intervals and PVC down-pipe clips to stanchions.

END CLADDING
Both gable ends are to be clad down to 2.591m (8`6”) below eaves level with polyester-coated box profile steel sheets on 150 x 75 C16 graded tanalised timber sheeting rails, complete with foam fillers and shedder flashing.

SIDE CLADDING
Both sides are to be clad down to 2.591m (8`6”) below eaves level with polyester-coated box profile steel sheets on 150 x 75 C16 graded tanalised timber sheeting rail, complete with foam fillers and shedder flashing.

CONCRETE PANELS

To supply 140mm thick x 3.000m high to both ends and both sides, excluding doorways. 

OPENINGS

1 No. Opening to be 4.572m (15`) wide x 4.572m (15`) high, positioned central on one end.

1 No. Personnel Door Frame Only.
